Chevron Nigeria Debunks Reports Concerning Recruitment Exercise

Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL) has debunked reports of a purported recruitment exercise, calling them “mere speculation.”

In a statement, General Manager of Policy, Government & Public Affairs O.S. Oduselu denied advertisements purportedly from CNL and Chevron Corporation offering job positions for sale.

Fraudulent job offers have been circulated via emails, text messages, and phone calls by individuals claiming to be CNL staff or representatives, Oduselu said.

CNL disassociates itself from these false publications and warns that it never authorises or requires applicants to make payments for job applications.

“Job offers requesting payment at any recruitment stage are fraudulent and not from CNL,” the statement read.

To verify authentic job openings, CNL advises job seekers to check its website and national newspapers.

For more information on legitimate recruitment processes, the public can search online or consult reputable job portals.
