Dangote Petroleum Refinery shipped 476,099 metric tonnes of jet fuel in 10 international cargoes in May 2026, reaching buyers across two continents, according to export loading data reviewed by Petroleumprice.ng.
The shipments, lifted by major global traders and energy companies, were destined for markets across Europe, North Africa and West Africa, underscoring the refinery's growing presence in international aviation fuel trade and its expanding role in global refined products supply chains.
A review of the loading programme shows that BP, Unipec, Vitol, Trafigura, ADNOC and Dangote featured among the key offtakers during the month, while Rotterdam, Jorf Lasfar, Shell Haven, Genoa and Lome ranked among the disclosed destinations.

Analysis of the export programme shows that Europe accounted for the largest share of disclosed destinations. Rotterdam received a combined 97,101 MT through two BP cargoes, while the United Kingdom and Italy received 44,000 MT and 36,971 MT, respectively.
Morocco accounted for 84,000 MT of allocations through two Unipec cargoes, while additional shipments were directed to Togo and other West African markets. Two cargoes totaling 100,000 MT were listed with destinations yet to be disclosed.
A breakdown by offtaker shows BP as the largest buyer during the month with 134,072 MT, followed by Unipec with 84,000 MT and Vitol with 76,098 MT. ADNOC lifted 60,000 MT, while Dangote and Trafigura accounted for 44,000 MT and 37,929 MT, respectively.
Of the total export volume, 432,099 MT had sailed by the end of the review period, while 44,000 MT remained scheduled for loading. The cargo movements highlight sustained international demand for refinery-produced jet fuel and reflect the facility's growing integration into global aviation fuel supply networks.
