The Dangote Petroleum Refinery received 23 crude oil cargoes totaling about 2.04 million metric tonnes and 7.16 million barrels between July and early August 2026, with Nigerian grades accounting for nearly 70% of scheduled deliveries, according to a vessel movement schedule reviewed by petroleumprice.ng.
The schedule shows that 16 cargoes originated from Nigerian oilfields, while seven were sourced from overseas suppliers, reflecting the refinery's continued reliance on domestic crude alongside imported grades to sustain operations.
The deliveries began on July 2 with the arrival of the Aristoklis, which discharged 138,532 MT of Bonny crude. This was followed by the Advantage Spring, carrying 950,000 barrels of Utapate crude, and the Sonangol Kalandula, which delivered 950,000 barrels of Qua Iboe crude.
On July 7, the refinery received two cargoes: 135,037 MT of Angolan crude aboard the Maran Morpheus and 129,000 MT of Anyala-Madu crude on the Advantage Solo. A day later, the Nordic Space delivered 130,137 MT of Ehra crude.
Further Nigerian supplies included 130,000 MT of Qua Iboe crude aboard the Lord Byron 21, 126,200 MT of Escravos crude on the Sonangol Kalandula, another 950,000-barrel Qua Iboe cargo on the Advantage Spring, 130,110 MT of Odudu crude aboard the Sonangol Njinga Mban, and 132,100 MT of Escravos crude delivered by the Advantage Solo.
Imported feedstock also featured prominently. The refinery received 1.04 million barrels of El-Sharara crude aboard the Kriti King, followed by 643,717 barrels of Massongo crude delivered by the Nordic Space. Another 1.05 million barrels of El-Sharara crude arrived aboard the Kriti Future, while the Advantage Solo later supplied 129,000 MT of Angolan crude.
Additional Nigerian cargoes included 88,405 MT of Anyala-Madu crude delivered by the Sonangol Kalandula, while vessels awaiting discharge include the Advantage Spring carrying 126,238 barrels of Qua Iboe crude, the Sonangol Kalandula with 126,000 MT of Bonny crude, and the Nordic Space transporting 128,000 MT of Massongo crude.
The latest scheduled arrivals include the Kriti Hero, expected with 134,432 MT of crude loaded in Spain, the Ithaki Warrior carrying 556,000 barrels of Anyala-Madu crude, and the Kriti King, scheduled to deliver 126,000 MT of Odudu crude. The schedule also lists the Noble, expected to arrive with 148,008 MT of Russian crude.
Overall, Qua Iboe accounted for four cargoes, making it the refinery's most supplied Nigerian grade during the period. Anyala-Madu followed with three cargoes, while Bonny, Escravos and Odudu each contributed two. Utapate and Ehra supplied one cargo apiece.
The refinery allocated 13 cargoes to SPM-C2 and 10 cargoes to SPM-C1. Of the total schedule, 16 vessels had completed discharge and sailed, four had arrived but were yet to berth, while three additional cargoes were still awaiting arrival.
The latest vessel schedule underscores the refinery's strategy of combining domestic production with selected international grades from Angola, Libya, Massongo and Russia to maintain a steady crude supply for refining operations.
