Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced new operational and safety measures that will take effect on Monday, January 12, 2026. The changes tighten controls on truck access and loading procedures at its Lekki facility.
In a notice to customers, the company said the updates aim to improve safety standards and increase operational efficiency across the refinery.
Under the new policy, the refinery will automatically cancel any Final Authorization Note (FAN) if a truck does not arrive for loading within 30 hours. After the deadline, customers must submit a new FAN application before loading can continue.
The refinery also introduced a stricter post-loading exit rule. Trucks must leave the premises immediately after loading and collecting waybills. Drivers may no longer remain on-site once documentation is complete.
Dangote Refinery said the measures will streamline operations and strengthen on-site safety.
“We appreciate your cooperation and partnership in achieving these improvements,” the company said.
