Dangote Refinery has increased its Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), also known as diesel, gantry price by ₦100 per litre, raising the rate from ₦1,700 to ₦1,800 per litre, effective Saturday, October 10, 2026.
The revised price was communicated to customers in a notice from the refinery’s Group Commercial Operations, which confirmed the new gantry rate and its effective date.
According to the notice seen by Petroleumprice.ng, customers have been advised to return all Automated Truck Call-ups (ATCs) for repricing, while new volume contracts will be issued to facilitate the immediate resumption of loading under the revised price structure.
The ₦100 increase represents a 5.88 per cent rise in the refinery’s diesel gantry price and could influence downstream pricing decisions as marketers adjust their procurement costs to the new rate.
The latest adjustment applies to diesel supplied at the refinery’s gantry. Its impact on retail and depot prices will depend on marketers’ acquisition costs, logistics expenses and prevailing market conditions.
