JUST IN: IPMAN Meets with Dangote Refinery Team to Discuss Fuel Pricing

On Tuesday, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) held a meeting with the management of Dangote Refinery to discuss issues related to the pump price of fuel.

IPMAN’s delegation, led by its National Vice President, Alhaji Fashola, expressed optimism about future collaborations aimed at improving fuel supply across the country.

Receiving the team, Dangote Refinery’s Vice President, Devakumar Edwin, assured that all concerns previously raised by IPMAN would be addressed.

Key topics of discussion included the modalities for direct purchase of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) from the Dangote Refinery, following the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) stepping back from its intermediary role with the refinery, which has a production capacity of 650,000 barrels per day.

IPMAN leadership confirmed that the talks are part of efforts to secure more affordable fuel for Nigerians.

However, as of now, IPMAN’s National Publicity Secretary, Chinedu Ukadike, has not provided further details on the outcome of the meeting.

Details shortly…
