NNPC Debunks Fake Port Harcourt Refinery Job Advert

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has warned the public to ignore a fake job advert claiming there is a separate recruitment process for the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC).

In a statement signed by its Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi O. Soneye, NNPC Ltd confirmed that no new recruitment has been announced apart from the one that started last year. The ongoing recruitment includes all NNPC businesses, and candidates who passed the Computer-Based Test are now being interviewed.

NNPC Ltd revealed that the fake advert is the work of scammers trying to trick people by using the recently upgraded Port Harcourt Refinery as bait. The company advised the public to be careful and avoid falling for these fraudulent schemes.
