Crude supply transactions handled by Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited through its trading arm have delivered more than 1.03 million metric tonnes of crude oil to the Dangote Oil and Gas Company Limited in April 2026, with shipment records showing eight cargoes in total, five already discharged and three still awaiting berthing or completion.
The cargoes, all received by Dangote Refinery, originated from multiple Nigerian terminals—Anyala, Bonga, Odudu, Forcados, Qua Iboe, and Utapate, highlighting a broad supply base dominated by offshore Nigerian crude gradesand routed through the refinery’s SPM-C1 and SPM-C2 offshore terminals.
Detailed vessel tracking shows that the first completed delivery involved Sonangol Kalandula, which transported 123,000 MT of crude from Anyala. The vessel arrived on Sunday, April 5, berthed on Wednesday, April 8, and sailed on Thursday, April 9 via SPM-C1.
This was followed by Advantage Spring, which delivered 128,190 MT from Bonga, arriving on Saturday, April 11, berthing on Sunday, April 12, and sailing on Monday, April 13, also through SPM-C1.
The Barbarosa vessel carried 125,000 MT from Odudu via SPM-C2, arriving Sunday, April 12, berthing Monday, April 13, and sailing Tuesday, April 14.
Another Bonga-linked cargo, delivered by Sonangol Njinga Mban, supplied 129,089 MT, arriving and berthing on Wednesday, April 15, before sailing the next day, Thursday, April 16, through SPM-C1.
Similarly, Nordic Tellus transported 139,066 MT from Forcados via SPM-C2, arriving Wednesday, April 15, berthing Thursday, April 16, and sailing Friday, April 17.
Three additional cargoes remain in progress, indicating continued inflow. Advantage Sun, carrying 142,327 MT from Bonga via SPM-C2, arrived on Thursday, April 16, but has not yet berthed or discharged. Another shipment by Advantage Spring, loaded at Utapate with 120,189 MT, arrived on Monday, April 20, and is also awaiting berthing and discharge.
In the same category, a second Sonangol Kalandula cargo from Qua Iboe, carrying 126,471 MT, arrived on Monday, April 20, and remains pending discharge through SPM-C1.
Across all eight transactions, the total confirmed crude volume supplied stands at 1,033,332 metric tonnes, with five vessels completed and three still pending, reinforcing a continuous delivery pipeline.
The shipment pattern also reflects relatively fast operational turnaround, with most completed vessels berthing within one to two days of arrival and sailing shortly after discharge. This points to efficient crude intake and handling processes at the refinery’s offshore terminals.
The sustained inflow, combined with pending cargoes, indicates that crude supply from NNPC Trading remains active, supporting steady feedstock availability for refining operations.
