For nearly two decades, one event has consistently set the agenda for downstream energy development across Africa. The OTL Africa Downstream Energy Week returns from Sunday, 25th October to Friday, 30th October 2026, and the continent's energy industry is once again preparing to converge in Lagos.
Organised by OTL Downstream Development in Africa Ltd./Gte, the annual event has grown into the foremost platform for business, policy, and operational relationships across Africa's downstream and midstream energy value chain. It has built a reputation as the place where the industry's most consequential conversations happen.
The 2026 edition will take place at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, and is expected to draw approximately 3,000 attendees, including managing directors, chief executives, policymakers, regulators, financiers, and service providers from across Africa and beyond.
The programme spans the full breadth of the downstream and midstream sectors, with focus areas covering refining, oil trading, shipping, tank storage, logistics, petroleum marketing and retail, liquefied petroleum gas, lubricants, petrochemicals, power, financial services, and energy technology. It incorporates a strategic conference, a trade and services exhibition, and high-level networking opportunities that make it a first-rate environment for business development and policy activation.
Participation is open across three categories. Virtual delegates, at $200 or ₦300,000, receive online access to conference sessions and the exhibition hall, as well as access to conference papers, with an option to upgrade to Premium. Classic delegates, priced at $950 or ₦1,425,000, with a 10 per cent discount available until 31 July, attend in person with access to sessions, the exhibition hall, tea breaks and lunch, conference materials and papers, fast-track accreditation, and eligibility for live interviews. Premium delegates, at $1,200 or ₦1,800,000, also with a 10 per cent discount until 31 July, enjoy all Classic benefits plus premium seating, an industry dinner, a post-event city tour, and a closing cocktail and concert. All in-person delegates receive a certificate of attendance.
