Exhibition space at the OTL Africa Downstream Energy Week is 90 per cent sold out, with about three weeks to the opening of the event’s 20th anniversary edition in Lagos.

The event is scheduled to run from October 25 to 30, 2026, at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, with the conference and exhibition holding from October 26 to 29.

The annual event brings together international organisations, policymakers, regulators, development organisations, operators, service providers and consumers across the downstream and midstream energy value chain.

It features a strategic conference, trade and services exhibition and networking sessions for stakeholders across the sector.

Key areas of focus include refining, trading, shipping, tank storage, logistics, marketing, retail, lubricants, petrochemicals, gas, financial services, technology, power and policy.

This year’s event is themed “Secure Energy, Share Prosperity,” with discussions expected to focus on harmonising regional fuel standards, financing retail modernisation, energy transition pathways and strengthening last-mile supply chains.

For exhibitors, organisers said the expo provides access to key industry decision-makers, opportunities to build strategic partnerships, generate quality leads and strengthen brand visibility.

OTL Africa Downstream describes the event as a pan-African platform for developing business, policy and operational relationships across the downstream energy value chain.

The 20th anniversary programme will also feature an industry gala dinner and a closing cocktail reception.

With 90 per cent of exhibition space already sold, organisers are calling on prospective exhibitors to secure the remaining stands ahead of the event.
