The 20th OTL Africa Downstream Energy Week begins today, October 25, in Lagos, marking two decades of convening stakeholders across Africa’s downstream petroleum industry.
The event, scheduled to run until October 30 at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, celebrates the milestone under the anniversary tagline, “Celebrating 20 Years of Powering Africa’s Downstream Energy Future.”
Accreditation for participants begins at 1:00 p.m. today, ahead of the main programme scheduled to hold from Monday, October 26, to Thursday, October 29, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.
The week-long programme will conclude on Friday, October 30, with a Dangote Refinery tour scheduled for 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The anniversary edition comes as Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector continues to adjust to changes in domestic refining, fuel supply and distribution, alongside evolving market dynamics across Africa.
The gathering provides a platform for industry stakeholders to engage on developments shaping the downstream value chain, strengthen business relationships and explore opportunities across the continent’s energy market.
The 2026 edition marks a milestone for OTL Africa Downstream Energy Week, bringing industry players together in Lagos.
