Owari, a market intelligence and liquidity platform focused on West Africa’s oil and gas trading market, will bring senior energy professionals and downstream petroleum stakeholders together for an executive forum in Lagos on September 22, 2026.
The Owari Executive Market Intelligence Forum 2026 will hold from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island. Discussions will centre on market intelligence, technology, trading, regulatory developments and emerging trends shaping Nigeria’s energy and downstream petroleum markets.
The forum comes amid changing domestic and international supply conditions, commodity price movements and regulatory developments that have increased the importance of timely and reliable market information for participants across the energy trading value chain.
Participants will examine these developments and discuss how technology and market intelligence can improve visibility, risk management and commercial decision-making.
Representatives from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Major Energies Marketers Association of Nigeria (MEMAN), Marex and Petroleumprice.ng are expected to contribute to the discussions, alongside other professionals in the energy and commodities trading ecosystem.
The programme will also feature an international market conversation with a global market participant through a live virtual session. The session will explore the connection between international commodity market developments and their implications for West African energy markets.
An industry discussion involving Marex and Petroleumprice.ng will form part of the programme, alongside a presentation on Owari’s progress and development in the regional commodity trading market.
The event will also provide an executive networking platform for professionals across the energy, downstream petroleum, commodities and trading sectors to exchange perspectives, build industry relationships and explore emerging opportunities in the region’s evolving commodity market.
