Petroleumprice.ng has partnered with Owari, a market intelligence platform, to expand access to real-time data on Nigeria's downstream petroleum sector.
Under the arrangement, Petroleumprice.ng will provide Owari with tanker position data, including vessel movements in and out of Nigeria, as well as depot prices and downstream sector news. News content originating from the partnership will link directly to the Petroleumprice.ng website.
Owari brings market intelligence, regional arbitrage pricing, offshore stock monitoring, vessel tracking and regional market insights together on a single platform, reducing the need for users to draw on information spread across multiple systems. The platform is founded by Joe Leigh, who is also CEO of Union Brokerage, a physical oil brokerage firm covering West African markets based in Geneva.
Owari will also be hosting the Executive Market Intelligence Forum 2026 on Tuesday, 22 September, at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos. The forum will bring together senior professionals from across Nigeria's energy and downstream petroleum sector, with representatives from NMDPRA, MEMAN, CSC Commodities and Petroleumprice.ng among those featured.
