Techno Oil is set to receive a 7,500-metric-tonne Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cargo this week, further strengthening its capacity to serve Nigeria’s expanding cooking gas market.
Shipping information indicates that the cargo will be loaded from the Nigeria LNG (NLNG) terminal and transported aboard the vessel MT Alfred Temile for discharge at the Techno Oil jetty in Lagos.
The delivery comes as demand for LPG continues to rise across the country, supported by growing adoption among households, commercial establishments, and industrial users seeking cleaner and more efficient energy solutions.
According to the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Nigeria’s LPG consumption has grown to more than 1.6 million metric tonnes annually, highlighting the increasing importance of cooking gas within the nation’s energy landscape.
The incoming cargo underscores Techno Oil’s commitment to maintaining a reliable supply chain and supporting product availability across key markets.
