Cameroon and Togo emerged as the leading export destinations for refined petroleum products loaded from the Dangote Petroleum Refinery in July 2026, according to a loading operations schedule obtained by Petroleumprice.ng.
The schedule shows that the refinery dispatched multiple cargoes of petrol, diesel, aviation turbine kerosene (ATK), low sulphur gas oil (LSGO), high sulphur gas oil (HSGO) and fuel oil to regional and international markets while maintaining substantial supplies to Nigeria's domestic market.
Togo recorded the highest number of export-bound cargoes, receiving five shipments. These comprised 44,000 metric tonnes (MT) of ATK aboard the ST Amrah, 44,000 MT of HSGO on the Ardmore Seafox, 42,000 MT of ATK carried by the ST Helen, 38,000 MT of PMS aboard the Minerva Oceania, and 88,000 MT of automotive gas oil (AGO) on the Torm Grace.
Cameroon followed with two cargoes. The UM Balwa delivered 44,000 MT of HSGO to Limbe, while the Pinarellotransported 44,000 MT of HSGO to Douala.
Other export destinations included Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, which received 43,903 MT of HSGO aboard the SM Osprey; Shell Haven, United Kingdom, supplied with 44,000 MT of ATK by the Nave Atria; Jorf Lasfar, Morocco, which received 44,000 MT of ATK on the Silver Euplecta and 40,000 MT of ATK aboard the Komorebi; Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, where the Apache loaded 90,000 MT of fuel oil for Aramco; Genoa, Italy, supplied with 42,000 MT of ATK aboard the Hellas Avatar; and Benin, Ghana and Lome, which received 41,949 MT of ATK aboard the Silver Gertrude.
While exports remained active, domestic deliveries accounted for the majority of the refinery's loading operations.
The schedule lists numerous petrol cargoes for Lagos, Warri, Port Harcourt and Calabar, including 100,000 MT aboard the Sabeak for Dangote, 99,000 MT on the NY Maria for Dangote, 52,000 MT aboard the Mosunmola for Ardova, 33,000 MT on the Bora for Bongas Global, and several additional cargoes ranging from 16,000 MT to 38,000 MT supplied to marketers including Rainoil, NIPCO, AA Rano, Eterna Plc, Prudent Energy, Masters Energy, Gulf Treasures and MEA Energy.
Automotive gas oil shipments also featured prominently in the domestic schedule. These included 36,000 MT aboard the Leste for Masters Energy, 15,000 MT and 18,000 MT on the Pinarello for Rainoil, 30,000 MT aboard the UM Minamifor NIPCO, 35,000 MT on the Oluwajuwonlo for AA Rano, 30,000 MT aboard the Leste for Gulf Treasures, and several combined AGO and ATK cargoes loaded for Asharami, Octavus, Sahara Energy and PPMC.
In total, the July loading programme covered 44 cargoes across the refinery's marine terminals, serving both Nigerian marketers and international trading firms including Trafigura, BP, Vitol, Glencore, Shell Trading, Aramco, Unipec and Moeve Trading.
The loading schedule highlights Dangote Refinery's growing role in supplying refined petroleum products across West and Central Africa while sustaining distribution to the domestic market through a broad network of marketers and traders.
