Truckified Limited officially launched operations today as a technology-driven logistics and transportation company focused on Nigeria's petroleum and logistics value chain.
The company said its entry addresses longstanding challenges in the sector, including delays in truck deployment, poor fleet visibility, inefficient coordination, rising transportation costs, and limited access to real-time operational data.
"Businesses require logistics partners that can provide visibility, accountability, and operational efficiency, not just trucks," Truckified said in its launch statement.
The company's operating model centres on logistics coordination, fleet management, digital tracking, and data-driven decision-making, with real-time fleet visibility as a key focus. This includes truck location tracking, movement monitoring, turnaround time improvement, and reduced operational downtime, underpinned by coordinated dispatch systems, safety compliance, vehicle monitoring, documentation, and performance reporting.
Truckified said its longer-term goal is to support a more organised, digitally enabled logistics ecosystem linking transport operators, petroleum marketers, manufacturers, and distributors. The company had earlier signalled its move into the Nigerian logistics market through a recruitment drive.
