Truckified Limited has introduced a digital platform aimed at improving transparency, cargo security and efficiency in Nigeria’s petroleum transportation sector amid persistent challenges involving product diversion, cargo shortages and poor haulage coordination.
The platform, Truckified.ng, enables petroleum marketers and product owners to book tanker transportation services while accessing features designed to improve visibility and accountability during product delivery.
The company said its technology-driven solution incorporates real-time GPS tracking, driver verification, insurance protection and Goods-in-Transit (GIT) coverage to address risks associated with petroleum product transportation.
It also offers a transparent quotation system and improved location identification features to simplify haulage arrangements and provide customers with better visibility of their consignments.
Petroleum transportation remains a critical part of Nigeria’s downstream supply chain, with inefficiencies in haulage operations exposing marketers and product owners to financial losses, delivery delays and security risks.
Truckified said its platform was developed to address some of these operational gaps by providing a digital link between customers and available tanker trucks, while strengthening safety and reliability across the transportation process.
The company added that it was working towards expanding its services across Nigeria and beyond as it seeks to promote a more organised and accountable petroleum logistics system.
