Fresh petroleum cargoes continue to arrive at Nigeria's major coastal depots as downstream operators intensify stock replenishment efforts to sustain nationwide fuel distribution. The latest tanker position report monitored by Petroleumprice.ng shows a steady flow of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cargoes into Lagos, Warri, Port Harcourt and Calabar between July 26 and July 31, reflecting continued supply activity across the country's key distribution corridors.
Lagos remains the busiest receiving hub, with several vessels either discharging, awaiting berth or scheduled to commence discharge at depots including AIPEC, Lister, Ibafon and other private jetties. Fresh PMS cargoes are also expected in Calabar, while AGO and LPG deliveries into Warri and Port Harcourt are set to strengthen inventories across the South-South and South-East markets. The continued inflow of products comes as marketers seek to maintain adequate stock levels amid fluctuating replacement costs, evolving depot pricing and sustained demand across the domestic petroleum market.

Market Outlook
The sustained arrival of PMS, AGO and LPG cargoes is expected to provide additional supply support across Nigeria's downstream petroleum market in the coming days. Lagos is projected to remain the country's primary receiving corridor, while fresh deliveries into Warri, Port Harcourt and Calabar are expected to improve product availability and support inland distribution across the Niger Delta, South-East and other regional markets.
Although increased vessel arrivals are expected to ease immediate supply concerns, market pricing is likely to remain influenced by international crude oil movements, freight costs, foreign exchange fluctuations and replacement values. Industry players will also continue to monitor refinery output, depot loading activities and import schedules, as these factors are expected to determine product availability and the direction of depot prices in the days ahead.
