Vessel Arrivals: Pinnacle, Rain Oil, AA Rano, Others Receive Fresh PMS, AGO, LPG Cargoes

Fresh cargoes of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) and LPG are scheduled to berth at key petroleum depots and jetties across Lagos, Warri, Port Harcourt and Calabar between July 7th and July 13, as marketers continue to replenish inventories despite renewed geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Tanker position reports monitored by Petroleumprice.ng show that several independent marketers and depot operators, including Matrix Energy, Rain Oil, AA Rano, Master Energy, Bono Energy, Petroli, MOCOH and Mainland, are receiving fresh coastal cargoes, with most of the products loaded from Dangote Refinery. The sustained inflow is expected to support product availability nationwide even as global crude oil prices remain volatile.

Market Outlook

The steady arrival of PMS, AGO and LPG cargoes indicates that coastal product distribution remains active despite heightened geopolitical tensions surrounding the Strait of Hormuz. The continued loading of vessels from Dangote Refinery is expected to strengthen inventories across major depots, improve nationwide product availability and cushion the domestic market against immediate supply disruptions.

While international oil prices have risen sharply following renewed military exchanges between the United States and Iran, the sustained inflow of locally sourced cargoes from Dangote Refinery is expected to moderate supply pressures in Nigeria's downstream market. However, marketers will continue to monitor developments in the Middle East closely, as any prolonged disruption to global crude and refined product flows could eventually influence replacement costs and depot pricing.
