Market Outlook

The latest vessel movements provide additional supply visibility for the Lagos and Warri downstream markets, with PMS and AGO accounting for the bulk of the qualifying cargoes. The scheduled berthing of Lian Xi Lu and Matrix Pride also adds to the near-term availability outlook for petrol.

However, the supply position remains sensitive to replacement costs, international crude prices, vessel scheduling and the pace at which cargoes are discharged and evacuated from coastal terminals. Market participants are expected to closely monitor these movements as they assess the direction of depot prices in the coming days.
