Fresh petroleum product movements are continuing across Nigeria’s coastal supply chain as vessels position cargoes for discharge at key receiving terminals. The latest tanker position report monitored by Petroleumprice.ng shows ongoing activity involving PMS and AGO cargoes across Lagos, Warri, Port-Harcourt and Calabar, with several vessels either discharging, awaiting clearance or scheduled to berth.
The activity highlights continued replenishment of downstream inventories, with Lagos maintaining its position as a major receiving hub while product movements into Port Harcourt, Warri and Calabar support supply requirements in their respective markets. The movement of cargoes loaded at domestic refining facilities, including the Calabar-bound PMS cargo loaded at Dangote Refinery, also points to the continuing flow of refined products through Nigeria’s coastal distribution network.

Market Outlook
The latest vessel movements point to continued product replenishment across Nigeria’s coastal markets, with PMS accounting for the bulk of the rcargoes and AGO also recording fresh supply activity. As vessels complete discharge and those awaiting berth proceed into their respective terminals, the additional volumes should support product availability and provide further supply cover for downstream distribution.
In Calabar, the PMS cargo loaded at Dangote Refinery and scheduled as the next tanker to berth and discharge is expected to add to local supply once discharge operations commence. More broadly, the pace at which vessels move from arrival and berthing into actual discharge will remain important for near-term availability, as continued tanker activity provides fresh volumes to the coastal supply chain and supports subsequent distribution into surrounding markets.
